Within the Md.net project, a series of lists of businesses that use best practices related to the Mediterranean Diet was collected through each participating region and partner.
Approximately 68% of the 392 businesses selected by the partners in their regions include the MD as part of their best business practices and are mainly located in Catalonia (37.5%) and Slovenia (30.6%), which is an indicator of the importance of reinforcing the transmission of MD knowledge as a business opportunity with the aim of increasing this type of practice.
The majority of the businesses are related to agriculture, forestry & fishing, comprising 69% of the total.
